A rare, early pair of Saturne (Saturn) armchairs, in original condition, with original blue velvet upholstery, designed by Genevieve Dangles and Christian Defrance. Presented in Paris in 1957 at the “Arts Ménagers” Design Show and produced by Burov, France, 1950s.
Wear consistent with age and use. Some wear to fabric, but usable condition. Some wear to finish on metal frame.
